The WWETB NZEB (Nearly Zero Energy Building) Digital Badge has been showcased by City & Guilds on their Homepage https://www.cityandguilds.com/.  This gives WWETB great exposure as City & Guilds are a recognised Awarding Body internationally. WWETB was one of the first training providers to have training programmes ‘Assured’ by City & Guild.  Assured is a new programme recognition service provided by City & Guilds ensuring that the NZEB Training Programmes are benchmarked against their quality standard.   WWETB developed a number of NZEB Training Programmes to provide learners with knowledge of the principles and practices that help in achieving the NZEB standard.  This Government directive with Policy and Building Regulations will require all construction professionals to adhere to the NZEB Standard and to undergo upskilling to meet the requirements of the sustainable building agenda.

An NZEB Digital Badge is issued to learners who successfully complete any of the following City & Guilds Assured Training Programmes in WWETB:

  1. NZEB Fundamental Awareness
  2. NZEB Retrofit
  3. NZEB Ventilation
  4. NZEB for Electricians
  5. NZEB for Carpenters
  6. NZEB for Plumbers
  7. NZEB for Plasterers
  8. NZEB for Bricklayers
  9. NZEB for Site Supervisors
  10. NZEB for Construction Workers

The Digital Badge allows learners to recognise and communicate learning achievements and certifications online in a secure way.
