FabLab Wexford & Waterford
FabLab (Fabrication Laboratory) is a fabrication workshop which gives everyone in the community – from young children to entrepreneurs, schools and established businesses – the capability to turn their ideas into reality.
Using open-source design software and a selection of computer-controlled machines, users can design and make almost anything. FabLab is a place that is open to anyone and everyone who has an interest in making things.

Community
FabLab is accessible to all. We work directly with schools, youth and adult groups. We also offer a number of programmes that encourage members of the public – irrespective of age, gender or community background – to get creative and use our facilities.

Rapid prototyping and low cost on demand manufacturing offer commercial businesses and micro enterprises the ability to turn their ideas into working proof of concept models in a local setting. We are fully accessible to users with disabilities.
Meet the Team
Lorraine Cleary (Enniscorthy FabLab)
Lorraine graduated as an industrial designer in 1996. She has many years’ experience working in the engineering sector, using various CAD software. She has been with the Fablab in Enniscorthy for three years.
Kamal Tribak (New Ross FabLab)
Kamal qualified in sustainable architectural technology. He has experience in architecture, engineering and multi-media design with great interest in developing future technologies.
