The aim of the programme is to provide the learners with a hands on introduction to the skills needed in light restoration work to take home and help them carry out work on their classic cars or motorbikes.

Learning Aptitude
The Classic Car Restoration Course is open to anyone who has
an interest in the repairing and up keep of classic cars, motor
bikes and light commercial vehicles.

On completion of the training programme learners will be able to:

1-INDUCTION
State the planned outcomes and the conditions attached to attendance on the course; apply good safety, health and hygiene practices; state the basic principle involved in environmental issues and explain the meaning of equal opportunities.

2-APPLICATION OF PAINT MATERIALS TO VEHICLES USING SPRAY GUN TECHNIQUES
Demonstrate the skills and knowledge required to apply foundation coat materials using a previously prepared and set spray gun.

3-MIX FOUNDATION COAT MATERIALS FOR SPRAY GUN APPLICATION
Demonstrate the skills and knowledge required to mix foundation coat materials for application by spray gun.
