New Ross Adult Education Guidance and Information Service
The WWETB Adult Education Guidance Service helps adults and young adults make informed education, training and career choices. This service is free, confidential and impartial. It is available to people who are 16 years of age and over* (*Please note, 16 and 17 year olds must be out of formal education). You can meet with a qualified guidance counsellor who will help you reflect on your interests, skills and life experience and to explore your education, training and work goals.
We can provide up to date information about the range of education and training options in Further and Higher Education. Course options in Further Education and Training include Adult and Community Education, Back to Education Initiative (BTEI), Post Leaving Cert Courses (PLC), Apprenticeships, Traineeships, Local Training Initiatives and evening courses. We can also support you with your course applications, funding information and qualification recognition.
