Beauty Therapy & Make-Up Artistry (Beauty Therapy)
The aim of this programme is to enable learners become CIDESCO certified beauty therapists and become employed and/or become self-employed beauticians/beauty therapists. There are three core and one elective therapy areas listed in the syllabus for this programme. Facial Therapy, Body Therapy and Electrolysis are mandatory therapy areas while learners can selected one of the following therapy areas as the elective from the syllabus.

Employability Statement
The successful completion of the CIDESCO Beauty Therapy Diploma will enable applicants to source employment as a beauty therapist/beautician in a beauty salon or spa and/or become self-employed in the beauty sector.

Start Date: 26-08-2025 Hours/week: 26 Hrs 00 Mins
NFQ Level 5 in a relevant discipline when accessing a Level 6 programme.
CERFL proficiency at B2 for access to Level 6 courses for those whose first language is not English
Mature learner entry requirements available via the local ETB pathway
