Previous Experience
No specific background is required for this course. If you have an interest in working in a regulated industry such as Pharmaceutical/Bio-Pharmaceutical/Medical Devices industry, or just interested in making a career change then you are most welcome to apply for this inductory course.

On completion of the Training Programme learners will be provided with the basic knowledge and skills for the following:

1-Induction
State the planned outcomes and the conditions attached to attendance on the course; apply good safety, health and hygiene practices; state the basic principle involved in environmental issues and explain the meaning of equal opportunities.

2-Quality & Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
Compliance with quality standards and good manufacturing practice.

3- Continuous Improvement in Manufacturing (CI)
To utilise a range of continuous improvement methodologies whilst working at operative level in the life sciences manufacturing sector.

4- Cleanroom Operations
Procedures for working at operative level in the cleanroom environment in the life sciences manufacturing sector.

5- Health, Safety and Environmental Awareness
Current health, safety and environmental regulations and controls for the life science. manufacturing or services sector.

6-Heating Ventilation & Air-Conditioning
Describe the system layout, component parts and on-line instrumentation for typical systems for HVAC
