VTOS Academic and Employment Skills Level 4
Programme Aim
The aim of this programme is to enable the learner to develop the relevant knowledge, skill and competence in a broad range of personal skills which enable personal development and active citizenship, and/or to progress to employment and/or further education or training.
This course offers a practical and theoretical introduction to general learning and skills to assist with progression to Further and Higher education. Graduates could progress to a range of Level 5 courses on offer at WCFE

Start Date: 30-12-2024 Hours/week: 28 Hrs 00 Mins Duration: 40 weeks
Applicants should have a standard of knowledge, skill and competence equivalent to NFQ Level 3 when accessing a Level 4 programme. Applicants may have participated in primary and secondary education although no formal qualifications are required.

Learning Aptitude
Applicants must have a motivation to learn, an interest in the subject and the ability to acquire the knowledge, skills and competencies set out in the course.
Previous Experience
Applicants must be able to demonstrate a moderate range of knowledge, skills and competencies relevant to the course, be able to work under direction with some ability to work on their own initiative.
